ENTERPRISE IS THE NAME OF THE GAMES The sixth annual Culloden Academy Highland games are to be held on Tuesday the 22nd of June 2010. Gates open at 6pm and close at 9pm. There are lots of different activities and entertainment at the Games, including sporting events, staff v’s pupils tug of war, music, dance, BBQ, Army assault course, a grand raffle with super prizes generously donated by local businesses and various stalls. Many stalls are run by pupils and enterprise is encouraged. There have been some very inventive stall ideas in the past – can they be as enterprising this year? UK radio Station of the year MFR will also be doing a live outside broadcast from the event. Previous years games have been very successful with several thousands of people attending from all over the Inverness area and from abroad. Pupils are eager to take part and get involved in the fun on the night as well as planning the event itself. The pupil promotions team have been very enterprising and working hard to come up with new ideas to promote and advertise the games. Look out for their banner on Church Street in Inverness which, at the heart the city, is a prime location to generate awareness. Hopefully the sun will shine on the Highland Games and we hope to see you there!
